Joe and Maliaka Hefling Our life group is very casual and sometimes loud because each family brings their children. We usually have some sort of devotional or scripture that is shared, we snack on food brought by each family, and the rest of the time is spent catching up with each other and talking about life. The kids play well together and we've all developed real relationships by sharing our lives together. God is really moving in our friendships. Ken and Kami Hoekema Our group consists of myself, Kami and Roger and Sherry Haisley all from Mt. Spokane. It also includes 3-4 couples from Shiloh Hills Church where one of my best friend’s worships. The group is geographical, including people from the far northwest of town: 7Mile, 9Mile, Suncrest and the areas in between. This spring, we studied 1 Samuel, which was very enriching. We have taken a break for the summer until after school starts, when we will finish 1 Sam and continue through the prophets. Our group has quite a lot of bible knowledge, so it’s a real treat to be a part of. Right now, the leadership is being shared between myself and Eric Farmer, my friend from Shiloh. We're Getting Connected!
Acts 2:42-47
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
